In short: the app collects nothing, the website almost nothing.

The app

Everything you write in Rituel (intentions, priorities, journal, statistics) stays in a folder on your Mac. Rituel has no account, no server and no analytics. The Pro licence is checked on your Mac, offline. Once, when you enter your key, Rituel sends it to the site with a fingerprint of your Mac (a code computed from its hardware id, which cannot be traced back to it): this is what limits a licence to 3 Macs. We keep the list of these fingerprints for your licence, nothing else. Only the connections you turn on yourself (Obsidian, Notes, LifeOS, webhook, iCloud Drive, partner) send data, where you chose. The “anonymous report” (Statistics › Help Rituel) is sent only if you press the button; it holds figures only, which you can read first.

The website

• No cookies, no analytics, no ads.
• Feedback form and waiting list: your message, your email if given, the app version and language are emailed to the publisher through Resend (email provider). They are used only to reply or to tell you about the release, and deleted on request.
• The host (Cloudflare, Inc.) keeps technical logs (IP address, requested page) for security, for a limited time.

Purchase

Payment is handled by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland), the payment provider, under its own privacy policy. Stripe collects your payment details; we never see your card. Stripe sends us your email address and the payment reference, which we use only to send your licence key and invoice and to handle a refund. The checkout is hosted by Stripe (checkout.stripe.com) when you click « Buy ».
